The successful consultants will be expected to possess a full range of professional services and skills, including facilitating strategic and functional assessments of organizational alignments, facilitating the establishment of an effective succession planning framework, and will have experience developing programs to support Strategic Leadership competencies, to include but not limited to professionalism and personal management, promotion of staff effectiveness, developing employees, organization development and assessment, business coaching, strategic planning and implementation, communication, managing conflict and change, building collaborative relationships, political savvy, emotional intelligence assessments, and sound decision-making and problem-solving. The total length of the contract will be one year with the option for a one-year extension. Final scope negotiations will determine final level of effort. Consultants will be expected to be onsite for some services. Requirements (Proposers should have most of these qualifications, but all are not required for each proposal) • Experience with formal structure assessment, succession planning and career path development. • Experience in successful implementation of leadership and organizational development initiatives. • Experience/certification in effective facilitation in groups and through professional assessments. • Certification in leadership, psychometric, trail and personality assessments. Certification must include the ability toe lead the assessment, present findings individually and to a group. • Experience identifying leadership styles and philosophies, using assessment tools to explain and expand on that identification. • Experience identifying traits, behaviors and characteristics of leader using generally accepted organizational development models and theories. • Ability to provide a 360-leadership survey tool and facilitate surveys and interpretation of results. • The ability to quantify and assess competencies associated with leadership as it applies to individuals, teams and organizations. • Knowledge and use of influence, motivation and coaching models for leaders relating to career path identification in line with organizational assessment and succession planning. • Previous work with local government
