As Operator of the Anson County Animal Shelter shall be responsible for all operations of the facility, which includes but is not limited to the following: + Staffing, equipment, compliance with State, Federal, and local animal welfare regulations and documentation thereof; and + Supervision of Animal Control personnel; and + Cooperate with local law enforcement when circumstances require; and + Comply with all necessary licenses required by State, Federal, and County and follow any and all regulations set forth by State, Federal, or Anson County; and + Obtain and maintain all required licenses, registrations, etc. as required by State, Federal, and Anson County pertaining to compliance through NC Department of Agriculture regarding vaccinations, euthanasia, etc. + Facilitate and ensure that veterinary services are provided to care for animals in your charge; and + Coordinate all animal adoption materials and procedures related thereto; and + Foster and maintain public relations with the citizens of Anson County and the public at large; and + Foster and maintain relationships Animal Rescue Agencies; and + Foster and maintain relationships with volunteers; and + Regularly report to Anson County Board of Commissioners or their designees and + Maintain requirements of North Carolina General Statutes 132 regarding Public Records Keeping; and + Provide reports upon request of Anson County Board of Commissioners and/or County Manager; and + Other such criteria which is necessary for providing proper treatment and care for the animals of Anson County.
