The selected Agency will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list): A. Manage, operate and fully staff the Randolph County Food Hub B. Agencies revenue stream: Determine any onboarding or membership fees for producers (one-time or recurring) Negotiate a mark-up percentage on all sales through the Food Hub Set monthly storage pricing for cold storage shelving, freezer storage shelving and dry storage shelving (See Appendix C for sample storage pricing) Seek and apply for grant funding opportunities C. All staffing costs D. All costs of program supplies and equipment E. All costs of marketing and advertising All marketing and advertising will be under “Randolph County Food Hub operated by (Agency name will go here) F. Setting the schedule for Food Hub operations for: Food Hub Staff Producer drop-off day, Agency packing day and customer pick-up day (See Appendix E for Sample Food Hub schedule) G. Utilize the Local Food Marketplace software for online sales and refunds (no cash sales) Coordinate use of software with both producers and customers 4 H. Remit sales tax collected to the North Carolina Department of Revenue I. Pay all producers via direct deposit at least once a month, (exact day/date to be determined) J. Agency is responsible for maintaining its own financial records Report Food Hub financial data to Randolph County as requested K. Work with Randolph County Information Technology for website presence, software development and social media marketing L. Annually ensuring required insurance and certifications needed for producers are up to date M. Having in place an inclement weather plan
