Specifications include, but are not limited to: UNC Asheville is seeking companies that can help achieve their goals of: - Providing students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors with a campus card with the flexibility to function as a true OneCard for all campus card needs - Working with companies that keep abreast of changing technology and new card equipment of interest to the University Keeping UNC Asheville goals in mind please outline how your organization would implement services for a University card system. Companies are requested to submit the following information: A capability statement that addresses your ability to perform the services needed to provide an all-inone card system for the University community, including but not limited to: 45 Your process, technology and methodology to provide all equipment, installation of and a detailed implementation plan necessary to provide full-service card system to the UNC Asheville community Your approach to support the card system operations for a full range of technical support related to software and hardware issues and other services currently offered by the UNC Asheville OneCard office Your ability to provide innovative alternatives to traditional card systems such as wireless capability and limiting the number of potential failure points in the overall system design Your approach to providing product support Your expected time frame in which the services would be implemented A statement describing your companys history and general capabilities to deliver a card system. Include at a minimum the following: How long has your company been in existence? How long have you been a provider of campus card systems? What is the total number of employees at your firm? What is the size of your customer base? What geographical area do you cover? Please provide information as to the qualifications and experience of your professional team and your company A listing of at least 5 Colleges or Universities utilizing your services. In this listing, please provide the following information: Name of the College or Siteinclude whether single campus or multi-campus environment. Card Office Web Address Contact name including phone number, address, fax, and email address General scope of services provided Timeline for design and implementation Dates Customer began business with your firm Summary of reporting capacity of card system Is the system currently interfacing with Banner? If not, name the college ERP system that your system interfaces. Your companys technical ability to support the card system A statement of relevant cost information for your services that can assist UNC Asheville. Examples of past projects and cost of implementation are acceptable and preferred. A list of any additional services or benefits not otherwise identified in this RFI that your company would propose to provide to University, or its students, faculty, and staff. Please describe in detail any unique or special services or benefits offered or advantages to be gained by University from doing business with your Company.
