• Provide general consultation and strategic advice / guidance in any of the below environmental programs; environmental compliance; emerging contaminants; sustainability program areas • Advise the Authority of new regulations and best practices related to environmental programs, environmental compliance, and sustainability • Assist in gathering relevant information to aid in Authority policy setting efforts • Provide agency outreach and coordination assistance, including regulation interpretation, preparing responses and other correspondence, and signing / certifying Agency forms as needed relating to environmental compliance programs • Provide emergency response assistance such as sampling or air quality monitoring (Note: Emergency spill response services will be covered with selected firms that were awarded with a 5-year spill response services agreement in 2024/2025). • Conduct environmental sampling, lab analysis with a licensed and NCDEQ certified lab (emissions, potable water, stormwater, groundwater, soil, etc.) • Complete calculations and analysis as needed • Document results, make recommendations, and generate reports • Conduct general training assistance as needed • Updating maps (deliverable of GIS geodatabase) • Completing Independent Fee Estimates
