Specifications include, but are not limited to:TASKS that the Contractor must provide A. Pickup and delivery service. B. Pick up table linen and skirts the following day but no later than the 2nd day after an event and deliver back to theAqu a r i u m , r e a d y f o r u s e , w i t h i n 4 d a y s . T h e A q u a r i u m ’ s S p e c i a l E v e n t s C o o r d i n a t o r w i l l p r o v i d e a n e v e n t s calendar if requested by vendor. The Aquarium is open 9am-5pm every day with the exception of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. C. Ability to wash on average 35 linens/skirts in one turn-around, weekly. Linen sizes are: 114” round, 120” r o u n d , 9 0 ” x 1 5 6 ” , 6 0 ” x 1 2 0 ” , a n d s e r p e n t i n e . S k i r t l e n g t h s a r e : 8 ’ , 1 3 ’ a n d 2 1 ’ . Ability to wash trash can covers and linen bags. D. Linen and skirting will need to be sanitized, cleaned and pressed. Trash can covers and linen bags are expected to be cleaned, NOT bagged, NOT pressed. E. If stains are not removed in standard cleaning process, spot stain cleaning will need to be applied before returning to Aquarium. If stains are unable to come out, the particular linen needs to be returned to the Aquarium with notification on that particular linen bag. Stained linens are not to be intermingled with clean, usable linens. F. Linens need to be pressed. G. Linens need to be hung on a hanger and covered with a clear, protective wrap. Contractor provides hangers and clear, protective wrap or covering. H. Place on each bag or linen hanger the size of the corresponding linen. Contractor provides label. I. The provider needs to contact the Special Events Coordinator or Special Events Assistant prior to arrival to either pick up or return linens, in order to unlock doors and inform other staff
