The City of Asheville, North Carolina is seeking Statements of Qualificaons for professional services as required for design and engineering services related to the restoraon and repair of the Municipal Golf Course front nine holes. The City envisions a ‘team’ approach led by an architectural professional which includes, but may not be limited to landscape architecture, golf course design, civil engineering, hydraulic and stormwater engineering, historic preservaon, and cost esmang. The City of Asheville is seeking a qualified design team to provide a full range of design services. It is expected that this design and engineering effort will include the bulleted items below as well as other design elements and features that will restore and increase resilience on the golf course property. Design teams should demonstrate the ability to: ● Develop a full damage assessment of the approximately forty-nine acres on the front nine holes including the stormwater and irrigaon systems along with the pracce green ● Provide comprehensive design and engineering services for holes one through nine for the enrety of the project moving from schemac design through design development, and then into construcon documentaon, and construcon administraon. This comprehensive design effort will include stormwater system and irrigaon system design. ● Incorporate Environmental and Historic Preservaon consideraons (EHP). ● Approach all aspects of the project with a focus on resilience. ● Provide cost esmang and bidding assistance. ● Provide all required perming and project closeout documentaon. ● Strictly adhere to all required federal terms and condions related to the work, including FEMA Code Policy “Consensus Based Codes, Specificaons and Standards Policy FP-104-009-11”. ● The ancipated construcon delivery method will be design bid build.
