Contractor will supply, install, and be responsible for the complete technical design, engineering, and installation of the rooftop solar array and parking lot solar canopies for the Town-owned facilities listed below. Services should include a structural engineering assessment for the rooftop array, specifically. Hardware Contractor responsible for the wire, conduit, canopy infrastructure, and all other electrical components required for system operation. Design and Installation Electrical design drawings stamped by the PV system engineer are required. In addition, a structural engineering assessment with stamped documentation is required to ensure the roof is capable of supporting the system load. Connectivity Per the Town’s Public Works Department Recommended Standards guide, concerning connectivity: An API (application programming interface) is required for all projects. The Town will provide a wired hand-off for any equipment requiring connectivity. The project developer is then responsible from the hand-off to the connected equipment. The hand-off location should be in the nearest IT closet.
