Specifications include, but are not limited to: Proposals are being solicited from qualified vendors, community-based behavioral health providers, licensed practitioners, etc. who may provide Mental Health Services to students in Guilford County Schools. Eligible applicants will be selected through a rigorous review process. Potential partners must meet preliminary program standards to be considered as a provider, and if selected, must demonstrate high quality service to continue providing services in the district. School-Based Mental Health Services to be provided: • Comprehensive clinical assessment of participating students and families to determine strength and needs. • Individual and family mental health counseling • Crisis intervention services to students approved for services • Intervention groups to assist in building skills for positive relationships, emotion regulation, communication, appropriate discipline and parenting, substance abuse violence prevention • Consultation and in-service training to GCS staff regarding mental illness, healthy emotional development, community resources and services
