Specifications include, but are not limited to: NC State University Communications (hereafter referred to as University when speaking of NC State at-large or when speaking specifically of the Communications Department as University Communications) seeks proposals from qualified suppliers to pre-qualify to provide Media Relations. The University intends to consolidate its partnerships with marketing, design, communications, and production contractors into a more unified, manageable, and centrally directed set of relationships. Combining these activities into a single program will allow for the reduction of service costs and also improve the strategic focus for University Communications. University Communications has organized its communications needs into five basic categories and seeks to pre-qualify a limited number of suppliers to produce media items for University Colleges, Units or Groups on campus who require these services. The categories included are Graphic Design, Web Development, Media Production, Public Relations and Marketing / Copywriting. All projects will be coordinated through collaboration among the respective campus client, the supplier University Communications. Face to face interaction on campus between the suppliers and the respective project coordinators is an integral part of all work. University Communications will provide University oversight and approval. Suppliers will be required to follow university brand and style guidelines.
