The purpose of this RFP is to select a firm to provide professional Consulting, Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture services for the Design, Bidding, and Construction Services for the replacement of maintenance building and storage building. The existing storage building will be demolished and disposed of offsite. The replacement buildings will be located on site at Catawba Meadows Park but will be relocated to a different location at a higher elevation. The City has pre-selected the new location for the maintenance facility as to stay outside of the flood hazard area and higher zoning overlay. The new maintenance facility area will be approximately 2 acres, and consist of a new driveway 24ft wide approximately 600ft connection to the park and new maintenance facility will also be included, maintenance building of approximately 4,000 sf, storage / pesticide building 600 sf, shed 1,800 sf, and a fuel tank storage area 700 sf. A fence in maintenance yard with parking, landscaping and screening from adjacent uses will also be part of the project. Preliminary site work has been started by City staff and can be provided as a starting point to the selected firm.
