THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF: Approximately 1,400 linear feet of priority 1 stream restoration on the Middle Fork New River (MFNR), approximately 462 feet of stream restoration with structures along the MFNR and 79 linear feet of restoration along an unnamed tributary to the Middle Fork New River. In addition, 0.316 ac of wetlands will be created adjacent to the new stream alignment. In-channel stabilization includes construction of riffles, toe wood, boulder vane arms, boulder toe and boulder j-hooks in addition to streambank grading for floodplain connectivity. The project includes approximately 3.8 acres of restoration of a native forested riparian buffer. Contractor shall provide all labor and materials, and perform the following work at the Work Site reflected in the Construction Documents provided with these bidding documents • Erosion and Sediment Control (temporary measures) • Grading • In-stream and Streambank Structures • Landscaping (permanent measures)
