Preventative Vehicle Maintenance: The following Preventative Maintenance Services shall be performed on all Vehicles. Responders should be able to accommodate at least Four (4) CFPUA vehicles per day. We require a fixed price for these services to include all parts, fees, hazardous waste fees, shop fees, and labor. The Preventative maintenance work will be performed after the first 3000 miles and every 5000 miles thereafter. Preventative Maintenance may not be subcontracted out. Light & Medium Duty Vehicles: ▪ Change the oil with up to six (6) quarts of quality motor oil (manufacturer specified) ▪ Replace oil filter ▪ Lubricate the chassis (when applicable) ▪ Visually Inspect (Call with price before replacement) - antifreeze/coolant reservoir levels - engine air filtration system - serpentine belts - brake fluid level in transparent reservoirs - wiper blades - exterior lights ▪ Check and top off the following fluids: - transmission/transaxle fluids - differential fluid - power steering fluid - windshield washer fluid - battery water (excluding sealed batteries) (Call with price before replacement) ▪ Check pressure, rotate and balance tires as needed ▪ Perform State Inspections (cannot be subbed out) Medium Duty Vehicles: ▪ Change the oil with up to sixteen (16) quarts of motor oil (manufacturer specified) ▪ Replace oil filter (must be manufacturer recommended filters) ▪ Replace all fuel filters –every 10,000 miles ▪ Visually Inspect (Call with price before replacement) - antifreeze/coolant reservoir levels - engine air filtration system - serpentine belts - brake fluid level in transparent reservoirs - wiper blades - exterior lights - air filter (replace as recommended by manufacturer) ▪ Check and top off the following fluids: - transmission/transaxle fluids - differential fluid - power steering fluid - windshield washer fluid - battery water (excluding sealed batteries) ▪ Check pressure, and rotate tires as needed ▪ Check tire pressure only for F350 Dual Wheel Tucks and Larger ▪ Perform State Inspections
