Specifications include, but are not limited to: Wilson County Schools requires vendors to assist in the review and update of the library/ media center collections for all 24 Wilson County Schools. The following components must be included in the scope of work for the media collection upgrade project. 1. Provide a weeding candidate list of existing titles and copies for each library. 2. Provide a library analysis/title map for each school using the district’s existing library management system. 3. Provide a curated overall core list analytics for each school which includes both curriculum support and recreational and general interest titles, to update library/media center collections that are tailored to each school and school community as determined by student demographics and needs per school such as age, grade, interest, and/or reading levels, genre (for applicable schools). 4. Provide digital MARC records for all library titles purchased for each individual school. 5. Provide pre-processing of all purchased library titles for each individual school including: barcodes, spine labels, and genrefication labels attached (where applicable), shelf order ready. 6. Provide personalized, on-site collection management support. 7. Provide ongoing group and individual collection management support which can be virtual or in person throughout the duration of this project.
