Mowing and Turf Maintenance • Mow all designated turf areas weekly during the growing season and as needed during the off-season. • Perform trimming around obstacles as part of each mowing cycle. • Do not enter or maintain the buffer zone around the organic farm area (between the curb and fence). Mowing should begin at the entryway at the wood line past the organic farm. Edging and Leaf Cleanup • Edge paved surfaces at least twice per month or as needed to maintain a clean edge. • Remove leaves and debris from turf and paved areas weekly, with more frequent service during fall leaf season or after storms. Fertilization and Chemical Applications • No application of fertilizers, herbicides, or chemical weed control products is permitted under this contract. The College will manage all chemical applications. • Vendors may be required to coordinate mowing schedules with the College’s internal chemical treatment schedule.
