The University of North Carolina at Charlotte seeks to establish a Contract with qualified and licensed landscaping vendors to provide skilled landscape labor on an as-needed basis to supplement the University’s internal landscaping teams. The purpose of this Contract is to ensure continuous support for campus landscaping needs during periods of staffing shortages, seasonal workload increases, and project-specific labor demands. Work performed under this Contract shall include on-site landscaping project support, general grounds work, seasonal campus preparation, and related labor performed under UNC Charlotte supervision. Services may be required throughout the year during standard campus operating hours, with seasonal schedule variations as defined herein. During winter weather events, the University may request hand-labor snow and ice removal support for stairs, walkways, building entrances, and other areas inaccessible to large equipment. The selected vendor(s) must possess the professional experience, equipment, and licensing required to perform commercial-grade landscaping on a large university campus. Multiple vendors may be awarded to ensure adequate labor coverage for overlapping project requirements. All labor provided under this Contract must be classified as skilled landscape labor and meet all credential requirements established in this RFP.
