Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform grounds maintenance service which includes grass cutting, edging the sidewalks, and spraying herbicide along the fences and signage as needed for twelve (12) sites that are a total of approximately eleven (11) acres at Bentonville Battlefield’s tour stops and satellite properties. Mow and trim areas every other week at a height not to exceed 2”: A. In reference to location #4, Sherman’s Headquarters, Vendor shall cut 12’ wide from the trail sign at turnout to sign at trail head at woods. B. In reference to location #7, Green Flowers stop (parking areas, cemetery), Vendor shall not use roundup around gravestones. C. In reference to location #9, Halliwell House, Vendor shall trim shrubs two (2) times per year. Vendor shall not cut the grape vines. D. In reference to location #1, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #10, and #12, vendor shall restack any fence rails that have been knocked down prior to mowing. Vendor shall also stack rails that are knocked down due to mowing. Not mow while raining or when grounds are extremely wet. Cutting will be rescheduled in these cases. Bentonville Battlefield reserves the right to make this judgment call. All contact phone numbers including cell phone number, or any other number needed for site staff to contact the company shall be printed on current correspondence and/or invoices. Contract Administrator shall be notified promptly of changes in phone numbers during the contract period. Cutting may be stopped upon grounds crew’s arrival if site staff has attempted to contact the company to reschedule a cut due to rain, wet ground, emergency, or any other important reason. Remove limbs, sticks and trash from site grounds before mowing. Limbs, sticks and trash shall be removed from site and not simply piled in a location or shifted to another location.
