Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful firm will provide various cleaning and clean-up functions which also includes floor work. The selected Contractor will be required to provide cleaning services throughout the year, six (6) days a week with 24 hour callback response, some holidays and inclement weather days. Services will not be required on the following holidays; Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. ; 1. DAILY a. Empty wastebaskets (Contractor to supply Trash Can Liners) b. Transport trash to designated areas in leak proof containers. c. Empty and damp clean astray and ash stands. d. Dust all telephones, and computers. e. Spot clean desktops and thoroughly dust clean if desk is cleared. f. Clean counter tops. g. Clean entrance doors and glass, and spot clean all interior glass. h. Clean and sanitize drinking fountains. i. Remove fingerprints from frames, light switches, kick and push plates and handles. j. Spot clean walls. k. Low dusts all horizontal surfaces to hand height (70 inches). l. Dust all furniture. m. Dust all exposed filing cabinets, bookcases, and shelves. n. Vacuum all carpeted areas. o. Spot clean carpet. p. Dust mop all hard surface floors. q. Damp mop all floors as needed. r. Wash and sanitize tabletops in conference rooms and break areas
