1) Whenever possible, the Vendor must provide product options for BOTH standard and “green” supplies. Green products are defined as using recycled materials, minimal presence of harmful chemicals, low VOC, biodegradable, and being safe for the environment. Disinfectants should NOT be green products. Per the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Green Cleaning certification criteria applicable to the below Paper Products, Can Liner and Cleaning Products / Chemical sections, products must meet the following: Disposable janitorial paper products and trash bags must meet the minimum requirements of one or more of the following programs: • EPA comprehensive procurement guidelines for janitorial paper. • Green Seal GS-01, for tissue paper, paper towels and napkins. • UL EcoLogo 175, for toilet tissue. • UL EcoLogo 175, for hand towels • EPA comprehensive procurement guidelines for plastic trash can liners Cleaning products must meet one or more of the following standards: • Green Seal GS-37, for general purpose, bathroom, and glass cleaners • UL EcoLogo 2759 for hard surface cleaners. • EPA Safer Choice Standard Cleaning products must meet one or more of the following standards: • Green Seal GS-37, for general purpose, bathroom, and glass cleaners • UL EcoLogo 2759 for hard surface cleaners. • EPA Safer Choice Standard 2) All pricing related to the inside delivery and shipping of products is to be included in the price.
