The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary to cut down select or damaged trees on the affected primary and secondary roadways from within the rights-of-way as directed and authorized by the Department and their authorized representatives. This work includes but is not limited to: cutting down leaning trees , picking up and loading felled vegetation and hauling materials to an approved FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) disposal site. Only select or damaged vegetation as a direct result of the effects of/or repairs from storm damage is eligible for removal and payment under this provision. only vegetation within the state-maintained right-of-way limits shall be removed. The contractor shall not trespass beyond the state-maintained rights-of-way unless expressly authorized by the Engineer.
