The Service Provider will collect, identify, sort, package and transport all the household hazardous wastes (HHW) collected at the event. Waste will be transported to a permitted facility or facilities for final recycling, treatment or disposal. The following items are considered HHW under this contract: Paint and paint thinners Furniture strippers and finishing products, oven cleaners, drain cleaners Solvents and degreasers Wood preservatives, furniture polishes and waxes Swimming pool chemicals Cleaners; including rug and upholstery, bathroom cleaners, all purpose cleaners Used motor oil Antifreeze, gasoline, hydraulic, transmission and brake fluid 2. In an effort to control off-site street traffic and reduce participant waiting time, Service Provider shall have two teams (two lanes for unloading) working simultaneously to unload cars. 3. Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides will be collected, segregated and polybagged (not lab packed) by the Service Provider for disposal by North Carolina Department of Agriculture (NCDA) at a later date. Service Provider will be required to transport said wastes from collection site to secure Lee County facility in preparation of disposal by NCDA.
