Specifications include, but are not limited to: NCEM will procure a Vendor with Secretary of the Interior (SOI)-professional qualifications in Architectural History or History Vendor to complete a web-based story map (story map) project in Seven Springs, NC. The Vendor shall conduct research into the historic, architectural, cultural and social development of the Town of Seven Springs and Indian Springs Township. The project will include a story map that will educate the public on the history of Seven Springs and its contribution to the County. 1. The story map will detail the history of Seven Springs, its historic district, and sites and persons significant to the town. 2. The story map will identify significant locations around Seven Springs and Indian Springs Township. 3. The Vendor shall provide FEMA and SHPO a draft list of selected sites and maps that will be used in the story map. a) The Vendor shall conduct research, including but not limited to archival documents, into the historic development of Seven Springs and Indian Springs Township as it relates to the county’s history. During the background research phase, the Vendor shall participate in one (1) public meeting in the Town of Seven Springs to be organized by FEMA in coordination with SHPO and in accordance with Stipulation III below. 4. The story map shall include historic and current aerial photographs, Sanborn maps, and historic photographs of significant persons and sites.
