Randolph Community College (RCC) is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to furnish, deliver, install, and configure turnkey heavy-duty equipment simulators to support its Workforce Development and Continuing Education programs. The required solution must include all necessary hardware, software, accessories, licenses, documentation, and training to ensure the simulators are fully operational upon delivery. The purpose of this procurement is to expand hands-on training opportunities for students pursuing careers in heavy equipment operations, construction, and related skilled trades. The simulators will serve as vital instructional tools by: • Providing a safe, cost-effective alternative to live equipment training; • Replicating real-world operational scenarios and conditions; • Supporting National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum alignment, credentialing programs, and industry certifications; • Enhancing RCC’s customized training partnerships with local and regional employers. The equipment will be installed at the College’s Continuing Education and Industrial Center and must meet performance, durability, and instructional standards suitable for an academic training environment. Vendors must provide turnkey delivery, including: • Installation and setup of simulator units; • System calibration and testing; • Verification of network connectivity; • Documentation of successful installation; • Onsite training and unlimited technical support as specified in this IFB. The purpose of this Invitation for Bid to obtain pricing for and procure heavy-duty equipment simulation equipment with all necessary components for Randolph Community College. Goods and Services will be provided in accordance to the terms and conditions of this IFB.
