Project Specifications and Background for 50347 NC Hwy 12, Frisco, NC This project calls for the purchase and installation of a new 180 KW, 3-phase, 120/208V, diesel generator and a 800 amp, 3- phase, 120/208V NEMA 3 Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). The new generator will be installed on an elevated rear porch/deck extension (see photos in attachment L) to be provided by the building owner. The installation will require new wiring from the generator location to the existing building’s main electrical panel. The generator will provide backup power to the Health & Planning departments as well as the Sheriff’s office at the above address. The new generator will allow this facility to provide uninterrupted service during and after severe weather events.
