Waters School ● North Chatham Elementary School ● Perry Harrison Elementary School Either a 2-pipe system or radiant heaters currently heat the gyms. The gyms do not have air conditioning. This project will provide energy efficient HVAC systems that provide heat and air conditioning. Commissioning services shall be provided in compliance with ASHRAE Guidelines, which include, but may not be limited to: During Design ● Perform commissioning design reviews of the design documents. Reviews shall focus on clarity, constructability, completeness, problematic issues and coordination of systems to be commissioned. ● Assist with development of the Owner’s Project Requirements. ● Review the Basis of Design (BOD) describing the technical approach planned for the project as well as the design intent to be used. ● Review contractor submittals for each project applicable to systems being commissioned for compliance with the design documents. ● Prepare commissioning specifications to be included with the construction documents. ● Prepare and implement the Commissioning Plan which describes the commissioning process and roles of team members. ● Coordinate commissioning activities with the project schedules. During Construction ● Review contractor submittals applicable to systems being commissioned for compliance with the design documents. ● Conduct and lead meetings to discuss commissioning activities. ● Review the installation of energy related systems and document issues to track non-conformance items. ● Develop pre-functional / startup checklists (PFC). Witness initial startup activities for major equipment of each type of system. ● Develop customized functional performance test (FPT) procedures. ● Verify and document proper performance of energy related equipment and systems ● Validate the accuracy of the test, adjust, and balance (TAB) report. ● Review and verify Owner’s operating personnel are properly trained. ● Review O&M manuals and project as-built documentation.
