Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will provide the following: 1. Contractor can use dogs or other safe measures to encourage Canadian Geese to leave the areas. 2. Contractor will be contacted on an as needed basis. 3. Contactor will use the above-mentioned methods to encourage geese to leave yearround. During molting season contractor will encourage geese that walked into the area to walk back out. 4. During nesting season contractor is required to search for nests and to addle the eggs in the nests. They need to provide a copy of the required federal permits and keep the appropriate paperwork. 5. Contractor will be available to make additional trips to above site if geese continue to be a problem. The contactor will need to provide an on-call telephone number. The Transit staff will contact contactor when there is a goose problem and the contractor will arrive within twenty-four hours. The contractor will be available to provide after hour visits if needed. 6. Cleaning up of goose feces will be required at each visit. If the geese are under control there should be very little goose feces on site. 7. If contractor controls population and addles eggs, goslings should not be born on site. However, if a nest does occur we expect the contractor to leave the goslings alone until they have fledged. More than two nests per season will be considered unacceptable. 8. The contractor dogs and crew should be comfortable working around the public.
