The County of Durham, North Carolina requests letters of interest and statements of qualifications from individuals to provide design & construction phase fundamental and enhanced commissioning services for the New Durham County EOC, Backup 911, & Sheriff’s Call Center, located at 2422 Broad Street, Durham, NC. The project consists of the commissioning of the EOC, Backup 911, & Sheriff’s Call Center systems in accordance with requirements set forth by Durham County and to achieve LEED BD+C v4 for New Construction Gold certification. In addition to complying with LEEDv4 EAp1 Fundamental Commissioning requirements, the project will also be pursuing EAc1 Option 1, Path 1 Enhanced Commissioning as well as Option 2 Envelope Commissioning. Envelope Commissioning will be solicited under a separate RFQ. It is the intent of Durham County to receive Qualifications and develop a short list of the most qualified Engineers from which proposals will be requested. Each respondent must submit qualifications responses using a format of the developer’s own determination and consistent with the requirements of the RFQ.
