• The Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing air handler located in the attic and the condenser unit labeled “Unit No. 1” • The Contractor shall furnish and install an energy efficient, R-454B (A2L – Class) refrigerant-based unit. • The Contractor shall furnish, install, and be responsible for any required work and components including, but not limited to new electrical disconnects, thermostat with associated wire, plastic HVAC drip tray, line sets, PVC condensation lines, reconfiguration of duct work to produce an air tight seal, insulation, filters, and any other required items per code and manufactures instructions. • The Contractor shall ensure that the new unit is balanced. • The Contractor shall provide submittals of the new unit with their proposal. • Schedule of work shall be coordinated with the County POC. • A site visit must be scheduled by contacting the POC below. • The Contractor shall submit any warranty information on behalf of the County. Warranty on the new equipment shall include a one-year parts and labor, three-year parts and five-year compressor warranty. • Any damages caused by the Contractor shall be the Contractors responsibility to fix or replace at the County’s discretion. • The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices to the POC (including a copy of any permits), and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. Permits shall be posted onsite at project location. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur.
