Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is soliciting proposals from qualified providers of embedded behavioral health support for first responders (hereafter “Proposer”). ● Provide Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services as appropriate for the City of Asheville Police Department and Fire Department. ● Provide CISM services for other State residents, as part of City of Asheville’s participation in regional CISM assistance, as approved by the Police Chief and Fire Chief or designee. ● Coordinate with the City of Asheville Peer Response Network. For the Police Department and Fire Department: ● Provide appropriate services following critical incidents, acute stressors, or debilitating cumulative stress ● Provide 40 hours per week of embedded behavioral health services. (Service hours to include continuing education workshops and training in order to maintain licensure of embedded clinicians.) ● Make appropriate referrals for first responders for additional support and/or services ● For CISM services, follow the policies/procedures for CISM services outlined by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation ● Maximize the provision of services and deliver the service hours in a proportionate fashion to ensure that adequate services are available throughout the entire term of contract ● Accept the fiscal responsibility for deviations from the terms of contracted services as a result of acts of the Contractor or any of its officers, employees, agents or representatives ● Comply with all provisions of service contract related to insurance, professional standards and laws ● Detailed management reporting, clinical reporting and ad-hoc reporting
