Contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications. The contractor must be qualified and able to perform all inspections and testing on sprinkler, pre-action, standpipe systems, and private hydrants in accordance to, but not limited to, NFPA 13, NFPA 14, and NFPA 25. The contractor must have the knowledge to ensure the operational integrity of the sprinkler system, recognize system defects and malfunctions, and be able to produce all documentation as required by NFPA 25 and the local AHJ. The contractor must have personnel to disable the fire alarm system prior to beginning the test and inspection. The contractor must have adequate qualified personnel to perform all tasks within the stipulated contract duration: 1. Contractor shall perform an annual sprinkler system inspection/test according to NFPA 25. Including testing all gauges with a calibrated gauge. Replace gauges that are out of date or calibration. Perform 5-year obstruction testing on sites as directed. 2. Contractor shall perform testing on all sprinkler pump systems including complete motor service on diesel fire pump motors. 3. Contractor shall perform private hydrant test/inspection. 4. All documentation shall be printed and a copy of the report left on site in the riser room, for hydrant sites the report should be left at the main fire alarm panel and one copy of the report delivered to WCPSS with a picture showing report was left onsite prior to invoicing).
