Specifications include, but are not limited to: Guilford County is in the process of developing plans to procure reporting software that will assist with the preparation of the County’s annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR). This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to collect information and recommendations regarding various financial reporting software options available on the market, the various application functions, and the respective budget ranges for those options/packages related to a local government the size and complexity of Guilford County. Guilford County currently has Tyler Munis as its current ERP system. The reporting software should be compatible with Munis and as well as configurable with other prevalent ERP systems. The County prefers financial reporting software that would offer the following functional capabilities: 1. Preparation and compilation of the ACFR, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for governments including transmittal letter, management discussion and analysis (MD&A), note disclosures, required supplemental information, other supplemental information, and statistical information. 2. Provides workflow capability related to the process of preparing, documenting, assigning, and reviewing the ACFR. 3. Provides external financial audit access, with ability to review and comment on workpapers.
