Qualified firms to provide hay mowing and field maintenance for approximately 42.3 acres in Bahama, NC; The contractor will be responsible for all tasks associated with mowing, hay collection, and proper disposal or storage, as detailed; The contractor shall provide the following services: • Mowing of Hay: Mow entire designated fields, ensuring uniform cutting and maintaining optimal grass height for hay production. The field dimensions vary and total approximately 42 acres. See Map below. • Hay Collection and Handling: After mowing, the contractor shall rake, bale, or otherwise handle the hay to ensure proper collection. • Removal or Storage: The contractor will be responsible for selling, donating, or removing the hay from the site. • Maintenance of Equipment: The contractor must ensure all mowing and harvesting equipment is properly maintained and in safe working condition for the duration of the contract. • Field Preparation: If applicable, the contractor may perform light field preparation work prior to mowing (e.g., removing debris, trimming edges) to ensure safety and efficiency during the mowing process.
