Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Raleigh Engineering Services Department requests proposals to remove the existing fence and gates and install new fencing and 2 motorized gates for vehicular use at the City of Raleigh heavy equipment shop. The shop is located at 4120 New Bern Avenue Raleigh, NC 27610. The scope of work associated with this project is as follows: • Demo and dispose of the existing fence and gates; • Supply and install approximately 140 feet of 6 foot-high commercial grade black chain link fence. All posts are to be set with concrete footings; • Supply and install two (2) motorized double swing gates with battery backup and a manual override feature for the entry and exit lane. Both exit and entry gates will have standalone keypads for access on a gooseneck stand set up on a concrete pad; • Installation and wiring of all necessary safety sensors; • Provide alternate pricing for commercial grade 1 inch black aluminum square tubing fencing material with standard spacing between pickets in place of the commercial grade black chain link; • High voltage supply (120v) will be provided and connected by City of Raleigh.
