The purpose is to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for the purpose of administering facilities supplement labor to be provided on the North Carolina Central University (NCCU) campus, located at 1801 Fayetteville Street, Durham, NC 27707, on an “asneeded basis. 1 Electrical Technician Skill Set: The primary purpose of this position is to perform work in electrical trade including but not limited to Commercial Electrical work • Must have experience in terminations at switches, circuit breaker panels and relays. Commercial electricians wire instruments that control the power, lighting, and heating units in buildings. • Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. Understand generator operations and provide basic PM. • Install and maintain wiring, controls, and lighting systems. 2 HVAC Technician Skill Set: The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks ranging from routine and unskilled to highly skilled in the HVAC trade. • Must apply methods and general procedures applicable HVAC maintenance techniques and have skills in procedures, techniques, use of tools, materials and/or equipment and meters. • May be asked to perform work in a specialty area or perform tasks requiring specialized skills. • Tasks may include preventative maintenance task, maintenance, repair, placement, installation, alteration, of HVAC equipment.
