Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract is for providing ten (10) fully operated, single-axle trucks (not to exceed over 26,001 GVW), with operators, equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) with a monitoring software subscription, 10.0-ft. snowplow, and 5.0 cubic yard (minimum truck capacity) material spreader for snow and ice control activities in Mecklenburg County. All work and materials shall be in accordance with the provisions of the General Guidelines of this contract, the Project Special Provisions, the current North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, the North Carolina Department of Transportation Roadway Standards Drawings, and the current edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
