Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract is for providing seventeen (17) Tandem Axle Dump Trucks fully operated, a GPS, 12-foot Snowplow, 10-cubic yard Material Spreader and two (2) vehicles equipped with a GPS with a supervisor, as needed for snow and ice control activities in Northeastern Guilford County. Work areas may vary according to progress and event. The Contractor shall furnish equipment in good operating condition and operated by properly trained and qualified personnel. The personnel operating the equipment shall be employees of the Contractor or approved Subcontractor and the Contractor shall be responsible for the performance of all operators during the life of the contract. The personnel shall be subject to the directions of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). The NCDOT may refuse delivery or may reject any equipment to be defective and/or inadequately operated.
