Specifications include, but are not limited to: Edgecombe County seeks a Company to lobby the United States House and Senate and relevant Federal Agencies on its behalf for an initial term of one year. The County will evaluate the work of the Company and make a determination as to whether to extend the engagement into the future years. The Company shall work on behalf of the Board of Commissioners, under the direction of the County Manager and County Attorney. The Company will actively and continuously lobby the United States House and Senate and relevant Federal Agencies to assist the County in several key areas including, but not limited to, the following: • Capital Funding for School Construction • Economic development • Broadband Deployment to underserved areas • Public Safety • Public Health • Other County Board priorities
