Specifications include, but are not limited to: Gaston College seeks a consultant with knowledge/experience in cybersecurity and manufacturing/textiles to identify and enhance Gaston College’s capacity to address the cybersecurity needs of local manufacturing partners, with an emphasis on the textile industry. Gaston College is expanding its cyber programs with the goal of creating a world class advanced materials center by fusing cybersecurity disciplines into existing manufacturing and textile programs, thereby preparing students to address North Carolina manufacturers' cybersecurity needs. For this effort, the focus is on the small and medium-sized enterprises and Textile Industry as well as the Defense Industrial Base with the federal rollout of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
