Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. System networking shall provide automatic communication of status changes, commands, field-initiated interrupts and other communications required for proper system operation. B. Communication shall not require operator initiation or response, and shall return to normal after partial or total network interruption such as power loss or transient upset. C. System shall automatically notify of any communication failures to the operator and identify the readercontroller that has experienced a partial or total failure. D. Host server/workstation shall provide operator interface, interaction, display, control, and dynamic and realtime monitoring. E. Determine if server cloud based, virtual, or physical.
