Wake County Government hereby requests qualifications from elevator / escalator consultant firms for providing all elevator / escalator services required to satisfactorily complete all phases of an assigned project within stipulated time limitations and budget. Anticipated services include the following: • Inspection and assessment • Trip / use analysis • Cost estimating • Energy use analysis and recommendation • Coordination of elevator design elements • Assessment and coordination of multiple elevator systems (cameras, access control, fire phones, PLC integration, etc.). • Conduct code research to assure the elevator modification meets the applicable requirements of the Safety Code for elevators. • Provide construction Documents • Bidding phase services • Construction administration • Review shop drawings, product data, and finish selections • Attend construction progress meetings • Conduct site visits • Project close-out including punch list and warranty administration • Lead multi-year elevator maintenance agreement RFP process for all county facilities. • Perform service audit. • Periodically review conditions of the county’s full service contract. • All other services requested and customarily furnished by a consultant on similar projects and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Standard Wake County Agreement for Professional Services.
