All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design & construction administration for the renovation & replacement of the Durham County Jail low voltage systems: • PLC-based Detention Door Control Systems • Card-based Electronic Access Control Systems • Video Surveillance Systems • Intercom-based Communication Systems • Nurse Call Systems • Public Address Systems All of the above systems will be replaced in their entirety and the design plan will include a phased construction plan to minimize impact to existing jail operations. Wherever possible, existing raceway, electric door hardware, and potential wiring will be re-used in an effort to minimize construction cost
