Specifications include, but are not limited to:Blue Ridge Community College is seeking a qualified Vendor to furnish, deliver and install a ‘turn-key’ Door Access Control and ID badge system for our 2 campus locations and 2 (two) card readers on 2 (two) separate door entrances of the Health Sciences Center. The main campus is located at 180 W Campus Drive, Flat Rock, NC and the Brevard campus is located at 45 Oak Park Drive, Brevard, NC. The Health Sciences Center is located at 805 Sixth Avenue West, Hendersonville, NC. Blue Ridge Community College will provide the locations of all doors requiring access control (see attached map). The software system should support up to 5000 multi-tech Card Holders, 150 on the Henderson County Campus, and 25 on the Transylvania Campus. Approximately 5 doors to IT server rooms will require both PIN key-pad and card for entry. The access control system should also have the ability to link to our security camera system to ensure all entry is captured on video and entry events can be quickly searched and viewed in the video system. Badging and ID Card Printer stations must be installed in each of the three campus locations noted above. Vendors will be required to demonstrate their products as part of the bid process.
