Buncombe County will grant the Contractor the sole and exclusive right to: 1. sell products and services to detained clients of the Facility and their friends and family including but not limited to personal care items, beauty products, toiletries, clothing, food, and related products.County shall not allow any party other than Contractor (excluding detained client telephone services, video visitation, and electronic messaging) to sell any product or service to detained clients of the Facility. All products and services sold to detained clients will be listed on a menu agreed upon by County and Contractor. The prices of these products and services will be reviewed at least annually and agreed upon by County and Contractor. Both parties agree that fluctuation in market prices may require price adjustments on individual products or services at intervals more frequently than once each year.Contractor shall be responsible for payment of all applicable taxes on products or services purchased by detained clients. The pricing on menus presented to detained clients to purchase goods and services shall include all applicable taxes. 2. have a program to sell products on Contractor website for purchase by friends and family of detained clients which will be delivered to a designated detained client. The County shall not contract with any party other than Contractor to sell any product or service to the friends and family of detained clients of the Facility. All products sold through the products will be listed on a menu agreed upon by County and Contractor. Additionally, Contractor will provide a variety of snack packs for the customer that will be sold between commissary orders and via vending machines.
