Through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the City of Durham, Department of Water Management (Department) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from candidates to provide professional engineering services for the Duke Golf Course Aerial Rehabilitation and Lick Basin Sewer Assessments. The Department is responsible for infrastructure operation, maintenance, evaluation, rehabilitation, and improvement of the collection systems throughout the City of Durham. The selected consultant will assist the Department in this mission by providing consultant services for sewer rehabilitation or replacement. The following areas are currently identified as needing replacement or rehabilitation: • Ross Rd & Idlewood Dr (see Figure 1) • Phauff Ct (see Figure 2) • Wake Forest Hwy (see Figure 3) • Duke Golf Course (see Figures 4 and 4A) The major work at Ross Rd & Idlewood Dr (Figure 1) consists of but is not limited to surveying of existing sewer and manholes to determine replacement needed to improve functionality of the collection system. The major work at Phauff Ct (Figure 2) consists of but is not limited to surveying of existing sewer and manholes. Alignment of sewer is unknown around manholes 16602, 16600 and 16663. The major work at Wake Forest Hwy (Figure 3) consists of but is not limited to surveying of existing sewer and manholes to determine replacement needed to improve functionality of the collection system.
