Specifications include, but are not limited to: The DORED website was custom designed and developed in 2006 using the latest website design and construction techniques. The back-end infrastructure uses a MySQL database server engine supporting all active content delivered through custom coded web pages. The entire site uses the PHP web development language to seamlessly integrate static and active (database driven) content. A comprehensive, custom web site administration tool was developed to allow DORED staff (non-developers) the ability to update and maintain certain portions of the DORED website, including news articles and calendar entries. Proposals should contain an evaluation of the current website and recommendations on the benefits and drawbacks of its current technology versus any changes recommended.
