Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract is for providing equipment and operators necessary for snow and ice control activities in Haywood County on I-40, from the Buncombe County line to the Tennessee State line, and on U.S. 74/23, from Exit 27, at I-40, to S.R. 1701 / S.R. 1471 (Candle Stick Ln) in Jackson County. The project limits of the contract will include rest areas and ramps along I-40, as well as rest areas and bulb-out turn-around locations along U.S. 74/23. For the safety of the motoring public and the snow and ice removal equipment operators, the turn-around location, for the western limit of the route along U.S. 74/23, extends into Jackson County, to S.R. 1701 / S.R. 1471 (Candle Stick Ln). Snow and ice removal equipment operators shall engage in snow and ice removal operations for the entire route, including the small segment of Jackson County
