WCPSS is seeking to contract with a consultant/consultant group for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Data Governance Policy to ensure the school systems data is secure, private, accurate, and transparent by establishing program goals, policy and procedure, roles and responsibilities, training, and awareness. GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORK: o Data governance; including councils, committees, working groups, maturity models, escalation paths and council charter. POLICY DEVELOPMENT: o Draft and finalize policies covering data access, classifications, retention, privacy, and usage. o Lead the development of the governance framework and policy documents. o Conduct Stakeholder interviews and workshops. o Ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. o Deliver training and documentation to support policy rollout.
