Training exercises should culminate in a press conference simulation. However, media training should not comprise the majority of the proposal. Holistic Approach: Implement a holistic approach to public information response, aligning training objectives with the City’s Emergency Public Information Plan and emphasizing collaboration among various departments and stakeholders. Feedback Mechanism: Outline immediate feedback mechanisms during and at the conclusion of each training day to address participant concerns and ensure continuous improvement. Additionally, deliver a comprehensive feedback report within a two weeks of training completion, highlighting observations, participant feedback, and recommendations for further improvement. Schedule: The proposal should include a schedule outlining quarterly training exercises based on relevant topics for the time of year.
