The United States Government (USG) is in need of a contracted company to provide crane services to support the relocation of a U.S. Army Mobile Arms Room container on Fort Bragg. The contractor shall safely lift, transport approximately 0.5 miles, and place the container at a designated final location, all within one business day, with no harm to personnel or damage to government property.
Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide a fully operational crane, a certified crane operator, and all necessary rigging and safety equipment to perform the following tasks:
- Mobilize the crane and transport it to the initial lift site on Fort Bragg.
- Safely rig and lift a U.S. Army-owned mobile arms room (standard ISO shipping container dimensions (see Attachment 2 – Pictures with Dimensions)).
- Place the container onto a U.S. Army-provided lowboy trailer.
- Demobilize the crane from the lift site and drive it to the designated offload location on Fort Bragg.
- Safely offload the container and place it in a designated position that allows the mobile arms unit to be accessible for maintenance and operational use.
- Complete all tasks in accordance with applicable federal, state, and Department of Defense safety regulations and Fort Bragg access protocols.

There is a site visit scheduled for 23 June 2025 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) at building A-4251, near the intersection of Collins St and Bauchenheimer St on Fort Bragg.
