II. SCOPE OF WORK Forsyth County employs 2594 employees throughout 28 departments. The County is seeking proposals from a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS) that will support the County’s training and development needs The selected LMS will be expected to enable users to develop content, deliver training, and track completion of training across multiple departments. While the County creates much of its own training content, many of our departments are required to complete training and recertifications through parties outside of the County, such as local educational institutions. The LMS will be expected to house and track completion of this pre-existing training created by parties outside of the County, in addition to training created in-house. At this time, the County will focus on creating training internally and tracking training that is currently assigned and/or completed through external parties with existing relationships to the county. The County will accept proposals for course catalogs featuring pre-existing courses created by vendors or partners with vendors. However, pricing for on-demand courses must be priced separately from the cost of the LMS and the LMS’ implementation. • Usability and User Experience • Provide a user-friendly navigational structure for administrators, trainees, and course owners. • Offer extensive customization capabilities, including branding (colors, logos) and user preferences. • Ensure ease of navigation for searching content, accessing training modules, viewing calendars, and course registration. • Provide mobile accessibility through apps for iOS and Android devices, ensuring key features are accessible on mobile. • Guarantee compatibility with various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and platforms (Windows, Apple)...
